Hi Guys,
Everything is up and running and we are ready to begin. The official rules, team pairings and divisions are avaialable at http://rpchessleague.wetpaint.com/
For players - please contact your team captain and co-captain.
For capt/co-capt - please submit your board assignments asap VIA MESSAGE. Higher rated players on the leading board. Beside the name, please write the rating.
FOUR BOARDS per round. You can let the 5th player play on the second elimination round and succeeding rounds. You may now also recuit additional players for your team but the MAXIMUM per Team is only 8.
We will officially start on the 14th but you may start issuing the challenge before that date AS SOON AS YOU KNOW WITH WHOM YOU WILL BE PLAYING AGAINST. Deadline to issue the challenge is 17 February. HOME TEAM is white on boards 1 and 3. AWAY TEAM is white on boards 2 and 4. HOME AND AWAY designations are available at http://rpchessleague.wetpaint.com/ click on Schedule of Games, then click your Division.
In issuing the challenge, replace LET's PLAY with ----> RP Chess League [Game No.] . [Board No.]. Game No. can be found in the Schedule. Board no. refers to boards 1-4 or your board assignment.
So for example, for 2-1.1, [2-1] means that:
2- means you are in Division 2 and
-1 means that your game is Game 1 in that division while
.1 means that you are playing in board 1.
[2-1] is provided in the Schedule but you will have to provide the POINT 1 or .1 or the BOARD assignment, if it is not yet posted.
